the Indian armed force is one of the most formidable armed forces in the world ever since its inception the indian armed force has proved its mettle in various wartime and peacetime missions and thus with special focus on developing indigenous capabilities India is trying to turn its armed force into a modern and a powerful force hostile neighbors such as Pakistan and China have motivated India to develop advanced weapons systems of sophisticated nature the development of fifth-generation state-of-the-art weapons systems is necessary of India amazed to impart credibility to its defence postures one such state-of-the-art fifth-generation weapon system is the Indian advanced medium combat aircraft for the amca the amca is a multi-role combat aircraft being developed jointly by the aeronautical development agency and the hindustan aeronautics limited as a stealth fighter for air superiority ground attack bombing intercepting strike and other types of roles it combines super cruise, stealth, advanced aesa radar, super maneuverability and advanced avionics to overcome and suppress previous generation fighter aircraft along with many ground and maritime defenses, the amca is intended to provide the bulk of the man tactical air power of the Indian Air Force and Navy over the coming decades the decision to develop such a system was taken by the Indian government back in 2008 to fulfill several requirements for a common fighter and to replace different types of existing fighter aircrafts, and thus the AMCA fifth-generation stealth fighter program evolved out of medium combat aircraft program that was created to replace various aircraft while keeping development production and operating costs down, the design development phase of the aircraft occurred from October 2008 to February 2013 during this phase design and configuration working for a total of ten design proposal with five major designs sharing similarities with five other designs emerged and after intensive Windtunnel testing the proposed aircraft was shown at the aero India 2013, full-scale development on the project was started as soon as the final design was made public at the aero India 2013, project definition stage lasted from February 2013 to March 2014 during which structural design analysis and size optimization was carried out to cater for all critical symmetric and unsymmetric load cases, the engineering technology and manufacturing development phase was started in january 2014 and it was announced that the amca will be developed by 2018, just then the Defence Research and Development Organisation entered the project to work on the prototypes as part of the proof of concept stage which is expected to be ready in 2018 at aero India 2015 it was confirmed that two technology demonstrators and seven prototypes are planned and we’ll go ahead with construction of the first prototype in january 2019 two technology demonstrator and four prototypes are scheduled to go under various type of testing analysis and development during testing phase the amca is being designed to be difficult to detect by radar and other electronic measures caused due to various features in order to reduce radar cross-section airframe shaping such as platform alignment of edges fixed geometry serpentine inlets that prevent line of sight of the engine faces from any exterior view and the use of radar absorbent material are being incorporated into the amca, the amca features two internal weapons bays which can carry for air-to-air missiles each a total of eight missiles are carried in the internal base and there are external hardpoints as well for mounting up to 6 under wing pylons including two near wingtip pylons and two for drop tanks along with two hard points underneath the aircraft’s belly with two on the each side of the weapons Bay when fully developed the amca will complement Tejas, FGFA, SU-30 mki and raffle in the Air Force while naval Tejas and mig-29k in the Navy the amca is intended to be the successor to the Jaguar mirage 2000 h mig-23 and mig-27 in the Indian Air Force I hope you enjoyed watching this video do check out our other videos as well links to a few are on your screen please subscribe and do not forget to hit the like button see you in another video thanks for watching

HAL and DRDO are the slowest team ever, they need more than 15 years for each prototypes.

T – 50 russia banake use bhi kar raha hai aur india mein abhi bhi FGFA ke liye panel report ana baki hai.

    very slow work

2019 tak testing hoga aur 2032 ko first flight IAF ko milega.

TEJAS ke chalte. baki country 6th generation fighter tab tak bana lenge

India doesn't have the technology it's waiting for help with the upcoming purchase and make in India like rafale saab and Boeing.
For start even Russia doesn't have the supper cruise engine on Pakfa yet so india may have to take engine from US or Russia.

Privatise HAL and DRDO and results would soon be visible otherwise both would continue to be white elephants.

Indians are not human they don,t deserve respect which other human do, couz they are creation of sex practices of Kama Sutra, Kam shastar, Kok Shaster & Grib Shahster etc which is part of their so called religion. This is why they do rap their own sisters and mothers. Hindu can never rule India as they are not capable to rule, see their history they have been ruled either by the Muslims or by the British, they will always be ruled by someone else as slaves.

India need to intensitfy weapon manufacturing of innovations in drones fleet rather than these toys. USA is in process to launch prototype of 6th gen aircraft by 2025 and China is in process to steal that concept by 2026 and launch it's own by 2027. India and Russia are sitting like ducks tbh. Russians lost to China and are forced to join 2nd cold war. New World Order is taking shape India Russia China USA are already in new generation war believe it or not it's just that they are not fighting it in traditional style.

  • Reply Nathanial Vigder February 15, 2018 at 6:05 am

I hope India can develop faster so they can protect themselves from Pakistan and China in the near future. There is a storm brewing, and if India does not prepare, they will sadly be blown over like a tiny shed. China and Pakistan will roll right over them. I just hope they are ready.

  • Reply SKT February 24, 2018 at 10:11 am

What? HAL is incompetent bloated government boondoggle, as has been proved by long delayed and plagued Tejas venture. Unlike the ruthless communist Chinese government officials, who aggressively copy and re-engineer Russian and American technology and machines, Indian bureaucratic establishment is lazy indecisive and corrupt. Indian scientists and engineers are top notch, as has been proved by those who excel in the western countries. However, India must privatize all defense manufacturing and collaborate with advanced defense companies in American, Russian, French, Swede, Japs, etc. Yes 'make in India' but dump 're-inventing the wheel' foolishness which has really hurt India's military readiness and modernization of all branches of armed forces. India simply cannot afford time delays and cost overruns — it does not have technological prowess, funds and ecosystem (R&D and suppliers) needed to build highly sophisticate weapons to counter real and present threats from China.

India would be better off designing a Missile Defence Shield like what Israel has (Iron Dome, David Sling and Arrow for Short, Mid and Longe range missiles). The future is all autonomous, pilotless, remote controlled World.

  • Reply gaatutube March 13, 2019 at 8:19 am

This will take at least another 30 years … just like Tejas. Obsolete by then. Unless DRDO/HAL can be privatized or most of their work outsourced. The people running these organizations are old and fallen into a state of coma. They are there only because of their strong political connections.

  • Reply Jerry March 14, 2019 at 12:23 am

Keep on rendering ideas like this, the public sector enterprises like the HAL have been reduced to an incompetent communist union who is happy to do sub contract works and build sub assemblies instead of producing any world class products. And the union governments are happy to buy foreign equipments at enormous price tag and commission.

  • Reply govind n March 16, 2019 at 1:45 am

This will be developed only after Tejas mark II is manufactured and delivered. It will take atleast 10-12 years for AMCA.

It'll take another 40 years to make this dream come true till then the world will be at 10th generation.what Pakistan did with Jf-17 and this JF-17 is now the biggest headache for IAF, it even fired missiles at Su-30s which is undisclosed fact while Tejas is still a laboratory rat JF-17's roar was felt by both the people living across the LOC and western Nations who are surprised by Chinese technology speaking for it self. Every day it challenges IAF with SD-10 and if AESA radar is intergrated into it it can carry PL-15 missile which can give it a solid edge over all the IAF fighters if PAF gets that capability then its the same old story where F016 rules IAF for a decade in the 80s and till 1995 IAF had no answer for F-16s after AESA radar and PL-15 missiles JF-17s will have an effective range of 400Kms and PL-15 is a top secrete Chinese technology it'll make Jf-17s comparable most modern F-16s and it'll be better then any thing IAF has except Su-30Mki and again here Su-30 losses since JF-17s can be build in huge numbers while Su-30MKi is a costly white elephant after all….
these are the facts you accept it or not.
