China Rejects FedEx's Defense for Rerouting Huawei Packages

July 29, 2019

FedEx is not having as good a time over in China now we're going to bring in Brooke Sullivan blueburger pinion colonists it turns this huawei issue is not going away it is not going away and so the latest is that China is saying they do not believe FedEx is explanation that this rerouting of Huawei packages was just a mistake and to be honest FedEx this statement that they've come out with it doesn't necessarily sound like it was a mistake they say that the rules of the US government were unclear and that's one of the reasons why they're going ahead with this lawsuit saying this shouldn't be responsible for policing packages and they shouldn't be liable if in fact they don't know what's in these but this is just not really a great situation for FedEx China does not make up a huge percentage of its revenue but it's still you know substantial and to be on a blacklist can have wide-reaching rooms it's also opportunity costs but you may want to grow there UPS is growing in China quite a bit and it may cost them in even apart from the governmental action and make custom enters their brand whether people want to use it in China absolutely and it was throughout Asia really and that's what I mean you know as far as the wide reaching consequences and for some of these other countries if they're deciding how they want to plan their logistics operations if you can't get into China that does create problems for some of these companies and it just sort of raises questions about who else may be in the crosshairs of this type of boycott push there were reports speculation that maybe the likes of Honeywell and Raytheon could find their products boycotted because they're involved in that Taiwan arms deal well not only that but just the broader push from the Chinese government to have companies use local manufacturers so we're talking on tech Karen uber heart of BI yesterday and basically some of the lower end products from Adira caterpillar are now coming from inside of China like China commies are buying the lower end products from their own companies same thing with chip makers the lower end chips we just heard you're buying they're sourcing it internally that's a that's a thing why America has a counterpart by China well so they're trying to home grow logistics operators as well and are encouraging them to expand and you know grow internationally as a real threat to FedEx and UPS

I have no issue if FedEx simply rejected the delivery for Huawei, or return the package to the sender; but redirect the package to USA is absolutely unacceptable, this can only be named as spy.

I found this whole mess show how naive we the common people really are! This administration is doing what ever they can to stop huawei/China using every trick in the book, national security with no evidence of spying! Printing the Chinese are evil right? But at the same time, they Chinese are allowed to invest $ 84Billion! Freaking billion! In Virginia on our infrastructure? US is in such a mess!

American companies are prepared to breach law and hurt clients to help US spy network, no doubt about it. US is just hypocritical to point the finger at Huawei and other Chinese companies without evidence or just suspicion.

This news failed to mention, according to Chinese investigation, there were more than 100 cases where FedEx detained or delayed huawei packages. Without government interference I would still say it's game over for FedEx in China.

"Lower end chip" my a$$, they are just try to feed into their narrative – "THE US one are still better", Just a year ago, Huawei came up world fastest and most efficient 7nm chip four months ahead of Apple's newest, wondering why is US trying desperately to get them banned?

Check on shipping prices by Fed Ex and UPS from China. Using Chinese shipping is far cheaper because of Chinese controls. Based on the differences, I don't quite believe this report. The US really is just balancing the protectionism with tariffs. My guess is we are being spoon fed…. On purpose.

rerouting more than a hundred packages aren't a mistake, they are intentional

Boy oh boy! Instructive to viewers on how to divert the real issue of hijacking of clients properties by some American logistics companies (such as FedEx) on behalf of its government, by sneaking in a red herring notion that what Huawei is complaining about its packages being redirected to US instead of the intended destination can potentially result in companies using only their own national logistics companies to deliver their own packages. Geez, is moral fibre so alien to these 3 American media persons? ☹️☹️☹️

Initially, Fedex was eager to do the bidding of the Trump Administration. But when threatened by China, Fedex sued US Govt for
having to act as its security agent. Lesson learned ; China must do as USA does. Use Sanction as a weapon. That's the only thing
your opponents respect. Do that to the Taiwan arms suppliers also. U will get better results.

FedEx will have upon their operations in China from now on a watchful eye, was it worthwhile, this kind of transgressions are not erased from memory, and absolutely call for painful corrections.
