Horizon Zero Dawn tips and tricks – BEST WEAPONS & HOW TO GET THEM (Horizon Zero Dawn tipps)

July 26, 2019

I got the best weapons in Iran Sudan and we'll show you what they do and how to get them in this video any questions drop them down in the comments down below and don't forget it at like button so yeah they are pretty good the best weapons in all rising spyridon no no they are not the shadow variants that you can buy in the shop I'm talking about the launch war bow the launch last fling and the launch rope capture so before we go take it in that look at what these weapons can do and I show you some gameplay as well let's first tell you how to get it it's pretty easy to understand but it does take some time and effort to get there so you probably know about these hunting grounds where you can do challenges before a certain time runs out things like kill machines using elemental damage or kill these machines while himself it's all really diverse and explains the different tactics you can use in a ridings you're done there are five hunting grounds in the game in total with all three challenges the last one is for level 30 and it can be pretty hard but the reward is worth it so if you go and finish all these hunting grounds with three stars or Suns in this game you can then go to Meridian city do the others Lodge and get your reward and that reward is the best three weapons in the game my advice would be to get the best armor in the game first before you go and try to complete all the hunting grounds they can be hard and having the power of this armor really helps watch my video on how to get this armor and what it does on the channel but you can of course also cheat I mean you don't have to complete these challenges on the very hard difficulty and of course you can switch in erisa teardown on the fly so you can simply set it to easy and then do all the challenges this will really help in the trial where you for example have to kill enemies with elemental damage simply because they die faster or this will help you when you need to lose Airwalker crates because the AI will be stupider and miss their attacks or you will simply take less damage but you are not a baby are you okay how you get these weapons aside let's walk you through these large versions of these weapons in alright here we go let's start off with your launch war bow with 50 damage and three types of errors errors like you can't fire with the other powerful purple bow the shadow war bow we are talking about shock damage here eyes damage and corruption damage well eyes and shock arrows are easy to understand you also get them from a blue weapon that you can also buy and shop of course they deal damage to enemies that are weak against that element and in the case of frost they freeze them making them more vulnerable against incoming attacks and in the case of shock damage they will get stunned for a short period of time the corruption errors though are like a little more complicated there they are like override the enemies from afar so to make damage hello I let them kill other machines without you having to override them with force overriding being yes you have to really have them stunned then you can go there override them well here you simply have to shoot arrows it's a little bit different though because the machine will attack anyone including you so if you are one p1 against the machine the corruption doesn't really make sense because you will still attack you so yeah corruption damage can be nice but a 4th overriding will really make them an ally then they will not attack you so my conclusion for this weapon is that it's not so good I prefer to shed a war bow simply because that weapon gets you the real arrows that deal damage to enemies shooting from and shook arrows against machines that doesn't do anything unless you hit a weak spot and the corruption damage is cool but yeah if you go fight one p1 it's not very like needed it's something else it's really yeah it looks all the really cool but yeah that's about it and speaking about looks look at this boat oh if you just walk around not having to worry about killing machines I would prefer wearing this though it looks really nice my favourite best weapon and maybe my favourite weapon in horizon zero dawn is the launch loss sling I was never a slingshot guy but now that I got this one I'm super impressed it's very easy to use and just a lot of fun as well because they're eating your enemies with these bullets does a lot of damage and you can also use these bullets in always so battling for this weapon is 70 of course how you aim and what your reload speed is then we have the first bullet that's a sticky bump that deals a hundred damage you can obviously stick to an enemy and then it will explode after a period of time or when you hit that enemy with for example the second demo type of this weapon the blast shot so the blast shot is just a simple explosive that will explode on contact London of leaves is the proximity bump that you can put on the ground and lure enemies in this one does 150 damage so two times as much as the normal blast bomb like us that is a really nice weapon really fun to use I always have this in my weapon wheel oblique up he's really use it against every enemy it will simply deal with tunnel damage then we have the large rope caster so a better version of the shadow rope caster it has to anymore handling but the amount of damage is the same and it also has the same amount of modification slot so of course which is weapon you can for example yeah go against a Thornburg pretty easily and set him on the ground so he will not be able to fly but there's no real special thing here as far as I know where of course the other weapons have something special so the lodge blood sling is totally my favorite from these powerful weapons but there's also this the chair laughter and I will do a video about that one as well because this is a totally unique weapon that I want to go more in-depth on so it might be that if you watch this video it will already be up on the channel otherwise yeah keep an eye out for that just subscribe to stay up to date on all my whole rides here on content I got a ton of sub up and have a ton of stuff planned so be sure to subscribe I will see you next time a like PDF did and goodbye

The hardest challange for me was killing 4 watchers with a silent strike. I raged a lot. But lately i found out that the strike from above perk also counts towards the challange

might wanna add that the lodge war bow is the best war bow you can get that doesn't include dlc. otherwise the best war bow isnt the lodge one it's the banuk one from the frozen wilds. side note: best hunter and sharpshooter bow are also the banuk ones from the frozen wilds dlc.

Beat NG+UH without the special armor. It's easy, to be honest. Died five times and it only happened because I was careless and cocky. Also, without the Lodge's weapons nor any DLC items.

This game is fun but any weapon can be good if you know how to use them and the shadow variations I don’t see Much of a difference other then different stat effects and it takes a lot of time to get this stuff I only grind for good stuff once I am done with the main story and the dlc I prob won’t return to horizon Zero Dawn cause I did everything that is entraining I’m. No completist very rarely do I get every possible thing done in games if they aren’t totally time consuming 😐😓

I don't like the lodge challenges at all, and I don't think of these weapons as the best in the game. The weapon that made me F-ing unstoppable was the Icerail. Specifically, the ice cannon setting of the Icerail. Why? Because it's an ICE RAILGUN. It's a load of shards and ice compressed into a heavy spike, which then fires into and tears apart your target. Upgrade it enough, and even targets who have ice defense will take significant damage. Now, granted, you need to go into the Frozen Wilds to get this weapon by completing enough of the story, and THEN you need to invest in the time to improve it in order to make it into the cannon. But THAT is worth it. No timed and graded challenges, just difficult fights and a search for the right parts. (You need to hunt Frostclaws, for one.)

The Icerail, though, has served me well. Thunderjaws, disc launchers gone in seconds with lots of damage per hit. Stormbirds, hit hard enough to disrupt energy salvos and drop them to the ground. Frostclaws…less damage, but still appreciable. Snapmaws, Behemoths, Tramplers – down and out. Rock Breakers, sniped. Shell-Walkers, cracked. Bellowbacks, brought down easily. Sawtooths, Ravagers, Scorchers – they are no match. And of course, the ACTUAL war machines of the game suffer greatly at its power. And the Fireclaw…oh baby… THE Fireclaw, the one that everybody knows to hate and dread, because the ones that follow after are in open areas where you can get them easier… That guy with that Icerail and that Shadow Weave…much better. That battle is HARD, but the cannon makes it so much better.

The Icerail cannon attack requires only the great effort it took to make it, and then all you need is shards for the ammunition. Yes, shards, literally the one thing that you should have LOTS AND LOTS OF, by now. The very nature of using what is effectively your money to fight may seem like it's expensive, maybe even too much like a useless Final Fantasy skill, but it's not…for two reasons. One, it is NOT that expensive and recupable easily by selling robot parts you don't need. And second, it does more damage than any coin toss attack, especially if you up its ice and tearing and base damage. You have to charge the thing before it'll fire too, but if you've been playing this long, you'll manage. It'll be worth it.
