Houston turns to Cajun Navy for help

September 12, 2019

We’re with a group of civilian boats, and we called out to help rescue a senior citizen community. 106 seniors in this home. They’ve been bringing them out one by one, loading them on to boats and trucks and getting them out to safety. “We have a guy who’s in contact with local officials, whether that’s sheriffs, police, fire rescue, emergency operations center. He pretty much tasks us out.” “Yeah, pretty much, man. Big fleet of small boats.” It’s amazing that the majority of the people out here helping, it’s civilians. It’s not their job to come out here.

People who rely on themselves and not the government…I hope the country is taking notice at how these people just take control. Amazing this is a example of what all of America once was and what America can be again. God Bless America and these great Americans.

These people are heroes, they tread through filthy disease infested water to help people and eat like once a day cause theres no time. They go beyond what most people would do. Please support them
