FYI, those “chances” you get after failing a PT test come with administrative consequences. Refer to AFI 36-2905. Just letting you all know before you get a false sense of reality. PT tests are serious, and failing multiple times can lead to involuntary administrative separation. Good luck to all of you joining!

Wow, how interesting … in the Army, our hands have-to be behind our heads during the sit-ups and we would need to sit all the way up. Baby girl … you're not that bad at running but if you're not feeling up to par try finding a love for the gym.

My family genetically has some kind of joint problem in the elbows where they can not go straight(if I put my arms flat on a table my wrists are 2-3 inches off the table) once I get to the third push up my elbows start cracking(not breaking) and it sounds gross and it does hurt a lot, like its pinching the nerves. My mom was in the army and managed to do a lot, but that was because she had her arms reset when she was younger.

If 54 is the highest is that what i would need to do to be a Warhawk? Because that’s what I am striving for

I go to MEPS on the 15th. Don’t have a ship date yet, I’m kind of nervous because I’m not a good runner. However, I recently started to run again. I’m hoping that I pass when I go to BMT. I would hate to be sent home over the PT test. 🙁

I absolutely love watching your videos, they have helped me so much and given me more confidence in joining 💗 i’ll be going to BMT in August for the AF and I was wondering what is the time you typically get done for the day while in basic?

  • Reply Matthew Mazzetti July 26, 2019 at 7:29 am

Maybe I missed it, but how long of a rest do you get in between events?

  • Reply Patrick Daly July 26, 2019 at 7:29 am

How much time is allotted between each of the exercises? I do not see a reference anywhere on the net..

  • Reply Carly R July 26, 2019 at 7:29 am

Your arms are allowed to flare out during the push ups? I’m actually trying to practice for the coast guard and your videos are helpful

  • Reply DIY TWOinCollege July 26, 2019 at 7:29 am

The situps impressed me, but you were right about your push ups. Great video. Great info. 😊
