Spigen Pro Guard Case for iPhone X Review – Army Green | 4K

July 24, 2019

Hey guys, Roger here back with another
video and today I've got the Pro Guard case by Spigen for the iPhone X. In my
opinion this is without a doubt the most protective and the best-looking case that
Spigen have made so far. Big thanks to Spigen for sending out the
product, let's get into the video. So the Pro Guard case by Spigen has a
hard polycarbonate shell and an outer TPU section. It also has Spigen's Air Cushion technology, which adds more protection to
all four corners of the phone. As well as the case, Spigen include two glass
screen protectors in the box and that means once your phone is in the case and
it has the screen protector fitted, the entire phone is protected. In the box
you'll find a small instruction manual which shows you how to get your phone
into the case. The pack of 2 glass screen protectors also come with some screen
cleaning accessories which will help you get the screen of the phone clean before
you apply them. So getting your phone into this case is easy you start by
placing the phone into the bottom section of the polycarbonate shell. Next
clip the top section of the shell into place it's a good idea to check all of
the clips around the case before moving on to the next step. With that done you
can now put the shell into the outer TPU section. You may want to run your finger
along each edge of the case just to make sure it's on correctly. Now that the
phone is in the case you can see the volume up and down buttons are very well
protected, there's also a cutout for the silent switch and if you've got big
fingers it can be a squeeze but even so I've managed to use the switch just fine.
The power button is also well protected and the cutouts on the bottom of the
case are all aligned perfectly. On the back of this case there's actually a
clear plastic that protects your Apple logo so the only thing that's not
covered is the camera. But that does have a raised lip so it will stop it from
getting scratched when you put the phone down. Once you've fitted the case the next step would be to fit one of the two
included screen protectors. Now being a big fan of Spigen products, I already
had one of their screen protectors fitted to my phone. But they are very
easy to install and they're a perfect fit for this case. While the case is a
little bulky it will do a good job of protecting the phone from accidental
drops. It feels good in the hand and it comes in quite a few different colours. Now the colour I have in today's video is Army Green and that's probably not the
sort of colour I would usually go for, but I do think it looks pretty good. If
you're thinking about buying this case please check out the description below
for a link. And while you're here don't forget to
subscribe to the channel so you don't miss my next video. Thanks for watching
guys and I'll see you in the next one.

I wish Spigen would have learned from Otterbox's blunder / reason why the Defender is not selling as well this year and included the screen protector into the case itself. Also, was a pretty bad decision to not include the protector for the back camera in to the case itself. Otherwise, hard to beat that Spigen are including two glass screen protectors with this case.

Did you not edit your video? The blurry shots are quite unnecessary. Being that we cant see anything. What camera do you use? lol

Nice review Roger! Defiantly a heavy duty case. Just what you need for a phone that’s so fragile!

Another well done video Roger! I am not a fan of huge cases but Spigen overall makes some really nice stuff. I am typically of the mindset of "Matte black seriously everything" but that Army Green and Orange….really does not look bad at all, though I'm not sure if I would go for it if I had to purchase it. Music was on point too, I know you put time into that πŸ™‚

The orange protector of the notch is ugly.. should have been black IMO..
