wow…….! that was a goody….don't often watch videos that long……interesting stuff. My mitochondria are stuffed, atp is compromised – well that's my theory, so that was a really good insight……don't need the big C …..

A really nice talk. And great, that you address keto and cancer in this manner. There are sadly to many ketoers, simply screaming "keto starves cancer and heals it". That is dump and makes me angry every time.

So impressed with the farming adventure !! I have cultivated nearly 90 % of our residential lot (the backyard space) with about 200 linear feet of Mittleider grow boxes and beds. The quality of the harvest s and nutrition is phenominal! I attribute much of my improved health and keto weightloss (92 lbs so far) successes to growing my own foods (vegetables, berries) to augment the proteins and fats bought commercially. It's rewarding, hard, sweaty work.(I'm disabled, on oxygen) It's beautiful and peaceful and serenely spiritual as well. You are in for a real treat. I wish you much success in your farming, growing endeavors. ;-)))

Paul, the time stamps past 60 minutes don't work as links. I think they need to be written as 1:11:17 instead of 71:17.

Hmm. Not so sure I agree with Dom about most of the benefits of keto being due to lowering calorie intake.
About the neuro-protective aspect, I was seriously keto for many years due to a seizure disorder. It helped but once I went carnivore, my seizures went away entirely even though I am running at a lower level of ketones. It seems to me that being in ketosis is important but chasing higher numbers on the ketone meter is not. If anything that extreme level of ketosis seems to get in the way for me.

Liver – great nutrient dense food and my favourite recipe to cook it is – rinse calves liver under running water and then marinate it in milk for two to three hours, fry in lard for a few minutes either side (literally two or three minutes) add to some beef broth, fry some bacon and sausage and add together and serve as a wonderful casserole. Enjoy!
    Love Saladino’s work.

My experience is that women tend to eat WAAAAAAY more carbs and snack more often than men. Many more women are sugar addicts which is why when they try to fast when they have issues. Women also tend to fib about what they eat – they want to be seen as"good". Men tend to just say proudly "I'm a meat and potatoes guy" Women also eat way more keto "treat"s. Men tend to be more carnivorous right off the hop.

Dr. Nowek here in Canada – could you do something on oral health and the shift in bacteria when switching to carnivore… Porphyromonas gingivalis' link to Alzeheimers; strep mutants and heart attacks etc. Protein levels and caries. Please. Keep up the great work.

Didn't know about lactate being used for energy. Does the lactic acid produced through fermentation of foods work in the same manner? Is this why people feel uplifted after consuming fermented meat or raw milk?

Do you freeze your liver for 2 weeks to kill worms / bacteria before eating it or eat it without freezing?
