Being a military child means you won’t be able to see your parents much. My dad leaves at four in the morning and comes back at eight. What it feels like to be a military child is kind of sad, because you’re leaving your family and your friends. I like being a military child, because I get to move to new places and learn new languages. You have to move to a lot of places in the world. We get opportunities other kids may not have. What I don’t like about it is that I have to give up my friends and get new ones. If you go to a civilian school, they might not believe you when you say you go to Paris or another place for your birthday. So I’m grateful that I’m a military kid.
