I was pretty happy with my job on the civilian sector, but I had decided that I wanted to become part of something that was greater than myself. At the time of joining and talking to a recruiter,
I was very naive of what the job was, what any job was, or what I could or could not do. I didn’t know what questions to ask, what questions not to ask. I believe it was the moment that a gentleman walked into my job in his uniform, and just his demeanor was my motivation. It was enough to get me to say, “You know what, let me go talk to a recruiter.” If there’s something you want to do there’s always a job
that needs to be filled for whatever particular thing you’d want to do.
Not just infantry. There’s something for everybody.
