A really like how David Productions pay respects to KyoAni without compromise the quality of the episode. Only the ED is where you see a mayor editing.

Now I only hope that Tamaki is as cozy and comfy as her last name make think so.

Shinra is just a nerfed Bakugo who can only use his feet.
    Prove me wrong.
Jokes aside, this anime is really gripping. The mistery is being built up while the action holds meaning.

Respect to David Productions for what they did in the wake of KyoAni

TBH, I didn't even noticed any form of censoring in the episode at all, not until you brought it up in this review. Looking back at it now, I can understand and respect the studio's decision of censoring parts of the building getting on fire due to the fact that it bring up the sad incident that occurred with KyoAni Studio a while ago.

The whole censoring thing really reminds me of when 9/11 happened back in the day and many tv shows had to censor and or cut out parts of certain episodes due to the fact that the studios and producers that made these series did not want people to think of these "particular scenes" as 9/11 references and or something that can trigger the thoughts and feelings of many people due to the tragic event that occurred in the US.

Other than that, this episode was great and I look forward to next week's episode of Fire Force!

I'm surprised the hiatus lasted only one week. But I'm not complaining, the more Fire Force the better. And the cen&@ship wasn't as bad as I expected.
I didn't expect to get so much wordbuilding. I thought that this is just our world, but with this phenomenon (kinda like MHA). But to see that half of the world is seemingly destroyed and we have Tokyo Empire here is extremely interesting. The mysteries the series lays out are fascinating and I can't wait to get answers to them down the line.
Villains of the show are creepy as hell. The "science dude's" smile in particular. Also Tiziano (I will call him that until we'll get his name, since they share the same voice actor) isn't all that far behind in the creepiness factor.
Tamaki is cool. We didn't get to see a lot of her, but I'm sure we will in the future. I like her design and battle style.
Shinra is really growing on me as a protagonist.
"Oh, btw, Shinra's brother is alive and Fire Force is shady as hell" What a way to throw a curveball.
